prawns Broiled Shrimp With Herbed Garlic Butter - Thats it, just shrimp, butter and garlic. I might suggest a nice light white wine on the side, maybe some fresh french bread with butter…..mmmm

Ingredients to make Broiled Shrimp With Herbed Garlic Butter

5 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
1 pound medium or large shrimp, peeled
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions to make Broiled Shrimp With Herbed Garlic Butter

Step 1:

In a broiler-proof skillet large enough to hold the shrimp in one layer, melt the butter with the garlic over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, or just until it starts to sizzle. Remove from heat. Preheat broiler to high. Place upper rack as close to broiler as possible. Add the shrimp to the pan.

Step 2:

Season with salt, pepper and parsley. Stir to coat the shrimp with the melted butter. Broil just until pink on one side, then turn shrimp and broil the other side. Serve immediately, drizzling the garlic butter over the shrimp.
